PAWPrint Concepts was validated with 634 children who attended preschool in one of three states. All children were fluent speakers of English and had no developmental issues that required additional educational supports within their classrooms. All items were evaluated using a Rasch measurement framework; analyses indicated that PAWPrint Concepts represents a unidimensional construct. The reliability of PAWPrint Concepts is .77, which is good for a measure of this type.
