DSF Logo – Partners

DSF is a not-for-profit organisation based in Australia that provides advice and support to families and educators on successful language, literacy and numeracy acquisition, evidence-based practice, and the strategies most likely to improve learning outcomes for all students. Their online bookshop features a carefully curated collection of high-quality educational books and resources. DSF is proud to have worked alongside the team at the University of Florida to create the Australian Edition of UFLI Foundations and to be the distributor of UFLI Foundations (Australian Edition) throughout Australasia. They are also the creators of Word Origins, an exciting, evidence-informed spelling and word study program designed for grades 3-6. Word Origins targets student knowledge of the multiple layers of the English language – including semantics, syntax, morphemes and etymology (the language of origin) and explores the impact these elements have on spelling, reading, and word knowledge.

CCRTL – Partners

The Center for Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching and Learning (CCRTL) is a non-profit organization that has existed since January 2004. 21 years later, CCRTL has provided professional learning experiences to almost 200,000 educators from Seattle to Jacksonville to Ithaca to San Diego and many places in between, including Canada. CCRTL exists to make cultural responsiveness a meaningful aspect of everyday life for education, businesses, and government. Our work exists because our educational system, as is, continues to underserve too many of our students, particularly African American and Latino children. We offer an alternative – a pedagogy grounded in the systemic validation of home culture and language as the basis for teaching and as a bridge to standards-based learning. We provide professional learning experiences geared toward gaining foundational CLR knowledge, implementing CLR practices, and sustaining CLR over time.
